Gavin Bottrell is the CEO, Managing Director and founder of Bottrell Business Consultants Pty Ltd. Gavin established the firm in April 2010 operating from the East Maitland & Newcastle East Office focusing on offering accounting, taxation and business services to the Hunter Region, Central Coast, Sydney & New England Region.
Gavin’s Qualifications are as follows:

- Bachelor of Commerce degree (University of Newcastle)

Gavin was raised in Lake Macquarie and educated at the University of Newcastle. Gavin has over 18 year’s professional experience providing Accounting, Taxation & Business advisory solutions.
Gavin’s experience & training is from large internationally listed companies and large BRW Listed (Top 10) Accounting & Advisory firms. He provides Management Reporting, Statutory Financial Reports, Corporate Governance & Financial Control.
Gavin has a passion for providing pro-active, timely advice and works closely with his clients to become an integral part in the management of their business.
Gavin provides clients with expert advice and services in a range of areas including business structuring and evaluation, GST, superannuation and taxation planning. He specialises in business improvement including increasing revenue, increasing profits, improving cashflow, and protecting your assets.

Rebecca Bottrell
Business Services Manager
Rebecca has over 13 years public practice experience gained from working with mid-tier chartered accounting firms. Upon receiving a scholarship at University of Newcastle, Rebecca completed a Bachelor of Commerce, Majoring in Financial Accounting and is a Registered Tax Agent. Rebecca is also a certified Xero Trainer.
Rebecca has a passion for assisting to grow business through understanding the key drivers of their operation. Rebecca work with her clients not only to achieve their business performance goals, but also to help them achieve their desired lifestyle outcomes. Rebecca provides general business and taxation services to a wide range of small-to-medium enterprise in particular the medical, legal, fitness industries and primary producers.
Rebecca comes from a country background, being raised on a large cattle station in Tamworth. She appreciates the value of commitment to the local community and her particular passion is primary production.
